Established in 1795, Muzzi is much-loved for it’s artisanal confectionary products, their Pandoro being one of them! If you are seeking something a little different to a panettone, then pandoro is an alternative option, especially if you don’t like the candid fruit the panettone are famous for. A star-shaped Italian sweet dessert bread made mainly from flour, eggs, sugar, butter and milk (pandoro means ‘golden bread’). This festive cake originated in Venice and later, in the 19th century, in Verona. To serve, slice either vertically for a nice, healthy-sized portion, or horizontally to retain the festive star shape.
