Tanca Farrà is a great, very classy wine that is surprisingly elegant and generous. It is a successful blend of Cannonau and Cabernet Sauvignon, grown on strong, red, iron-rich clay soils. The nose is broad and estery, dominated by a slightly herbaceous note. A full-bodied, long-aged wine that superbly partners roasts, red meats, game and rich sauces from all culinary traditions. Excellent at the end of the meal with a wide range of cheeses, especially if hard-paste and moderately mature.
