Salsiccia Piccante

This premium quality hot sausage is the most popular traditional salame from Calabria. It is obtained from the shoulder and bacon of the pork. Medium cut, it is seasoned with hot peppers from Calabria and fennel cured for at least 30 day. The meat then stuffed into natural casings with its characteristic horse-shoe shape. It is usually eaten with bread or even used in pasta sauces.
